Marissa Teijo Makes History as The Oldest Miss Texas USA Pageant Contestant
Teijo, a 71-year-old from El Paso, made history as the oldest contestant in the Miss Texas USA pageant. The Miss Universe organization recently lifted age limits and other restrictions to promote inclusivity, allowing Teijo to compete and inspire others to pursue their dreams regardless of age. Represented by Bazaar Models, Teijo was among nearly 100 contestants, including seven other women from El Paso, aiming to break barriers and showcase strength and beauty.
